CELPIP Writing Task 2 Template: Survey Response

Цель

Напишите ответ на опрос (официальное название — “Responding to Survey Questions”) объёмом 150–200 слов за 26 минут. Вам предложат два варианта — нужно выбрать один, обосновать выбор причинами и примерами и сравнить его со вторым вариантом.

Задание: Your town is developing a green area. Choose between a recreational park or a shopping complex. Explain your choice and compare it with the other option.

Шаг 1. Сформулируйте своё мнение

Цель: Начните с чёткого выбора одного варианта. Никакой двусмысленности — определитесь в первом же предложении.

Грамматический приём: смягчение формулировок

Соедините уверенность с выразительностью — используйте смягчающие конструкции:

• Чёткое мнение: From my perspective, the best option is [your choice].
• Подкрепление: After considering both options, I strongly feel that [choice] would [benefit].

Шаг 2. Первая причина с пояснением

Цель: Приведите самую сильную причину и подкрепите её конкретным примером или деталью.

Грамматический приём: причина через придаточное с “that”

Формула: The primary reason I prefer this option is that + [reason clause].

Эта конструкция звучит более изысканно, чем I like it because…, и показывает уверенное владение грамматикой.

Варианты:

• One key reason for my decision is…
• The first point I would like to make is…

Шаблон

• Ввод причины: The primary reason I prefer this option is that [reason].
• Конкретный пример: For example, [concrete detail].
• Привязка к реальности: This is particularly relevant because [connection to real life].

Пример: The primary reason I prefer this option is that it would promote a healthier lifestyle. For example, the park could include walking trails, open fields for sports, and playgrounds, encouraging residents to stay active outdoors. Шаг 3. Вторая причина с пояснением

Цель: Приведите вторую, иную по смыслу причину. Покажите широту мышления.

Грамматический приём: соединительные маркеры дискурса

Подайте вторую причину через связки, которые показывают логическое развитие:

• Вторая причина: Another reason I support this choice is [reason].
• Развитие мысли: Moreover, I would like to point out that [additional detail].
• Пример или свидетельство: [Specific supporting detail].

Пример: Another reason I support this choice is the recreational park would foster a sense of community. Шаг 4. Сравните со вторым вариантом

Цель: Коротко объясните, почему второй вариант хуже подходит. Не нападайте на него — сравните объективно.

Грамматический приём: уступка с противопоставлением

Сначала признайте сильные стороны другого варианта, а затем аргументируйте свой выбор:

Шаг 5. Заключение

Цель: Повторите своё мнение другими словами. НЕ вводите новых аргументов. Добавьте вежливую завершающую формулу.

Грамматический приём: перефразирование

Повторите мнение, не повторяя ровно тех же слов:
